Nick Washbrook made a well-crafted half-century to help Carmel's First XI claim a five-wicket victory over promotion chasing Menai Bridge at Pen-y-Gelli.
Washbrook passed 400 runs for the season in all competitions as he ensured the home side passed their target of 115 with relative ease.
Danny Owens (16) and skipper Danny Oliver (19) both got starts were unable to convert as they were caught and run out respectively.
Timothy Abraham and Will Loveland both fell for ducks but Washbrook, who finished unbeaten with 57, steadied the innings with Mike Williams (5) and Andy Skates (11 not out) to give the hosts a 7-3 points victory.
Earlier, Steve 'Scooter' Jones finished the pick of the Carmel attack as he collected impressive figures of 4-28 of his 12 overs.
Mystery spinner Chris Davies (2-29) bowled with control off his 11 overs while Matthew Prescott (2-22) and Michael Harrison (1-22) also got among the wickets in a fiercely contested match.
However, it was a far from flawless performance by Carmel in the field after they dropped no less than six catches as Menai Bridge were dismissed for 114 in 40 overs.
The result ensured Carmel remain just behind the early pacesetters in North Wales Cricket League Division Two in seventh place after seven rounds of fixtures - but only seven points behind top spot. Full scorecard here...
