Carmel's debut in the Chester & District Midweek League has been put on hold for at least another week after their opening fixture was called off because of the weather.
The club were set to face a Chester Asian XI but persistent rain has left conditions at Westminster Park in Chester unplayable so the match was cancelled without a ball being bowled.
